INT. NADIA'S APARTMENT — HALLWAY — 3AM
The hallway is impossibly long. Nadia stands at one end in her nightgown. At the other end — a door that wasn't there yesterday.

Can we add a sound design note here? The silence before the door is key.
She walks toward it. The fluorescent light above her flickers. Once. Twice. Then stays on — but the quality of the light is wrong. Too yellow. Too warm for 3AM.
NADIA
(whispering)
I know you're in there. I've always known.

The door opens. Not by her hand. By itself. Beyond it — her own apartment. Identical. Except the windows face inward.
